Son of James O'Beirne and Annie O'Beirne nee Fitzpatrick of Melville Street, Hobart, Tasmania.
Commenced return to Australia on 30 January 1918 aboard HT Euripides disembarking on 23 March 1918 at Melbourne for onward travel to Hobart
