26 Sep 1917: | Honoured Military Medal, This Signaller displayed great bravery and devotion to duty as a linesman during the recent operations at ZONNEBEKE on 26th September, 1917. By means of his services, and his untiring energy, communications by telephone were maintained between Battalion and Brigade Headquarters.
