24 Sep 1915: Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 1095, 25th Infantry Battalion, ANZAC / Gallipoli, On the 24th September 1915 in the Field at ANZAC Cove, Gallipoli, he received a Gun Shot Wound(GSW) to his Left Forearm.
25 Sep 1915: Transferred AIF WW1, Private, 7th Field Ambulance, On the 25th September 1915 he was Medically Evacuated by the 7th Field Ambulance and was Transferred to a Medical Ship.

17 Mar 1916: Embarked AIF WW1, Private, 1095, 25th Infantry Battalion, On the 17th March 1916 he Embarked England aboard the Vessel "Ascanius", bound for Australia due to the injuries received from the GSW to his Left Forearm.
30 Apr 1916: Embarked AIF WW1, Private, 1095, 25th Infantry Battalion, On the 30th April 1916 he Disembarked the Vessel "Ascanius" in Australia.
5 May 1916: Transferred AIF WW1, Private, 25th Infantry Battalion, On the 5th May 1916 he was Admitted to the 6th Australian General Hospital for further treatment of his GSW Left Forearm. His wound had become Septic and he had lost the use of his Middle and Ring Fingers on his Left Hand as a result.
24 May 1916: Discharged AIF WW1, Private, 1095, 25th Infantry Battalion, On the 24th May 1916 he was Discharged from the Australian Army as Medically Unfit for Duty due to his wounds received at ANZAC Cove, Gallipoli. Last Active Unit was D Company, 25th Infantry Battalion, 7th Infantry Brigade AIF.
