1922, 1 April, Edwin Clamp Redfern, elder son of J W and J E Redfern of Southampton, England married Dorothy Gertrude Gay, elder daughter of Mrs F G and the late H D Gay of Malvern, South Australia at Holy Trinity Church, East Melbourne.

1924, 12 November, the only child of Edwin and Dorothy Redfern (Jean Phyllis Redfern) was born in Adelaide when her parents were residing at Prospect, SA.

1958, 24 October, Edwin Clamp Redfern died at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, NSW.
