Biography

"THE LATE PRIVATE H. R. KIMBER.

Born at Clare, the late Private H. R. Kimber was a son of Mr. Charles Kimber, jun. In 1901 he left for Western Australia, and for many years was employed as an accountant by Messrs. Levi Green and Co., of Perth. He enlisted there in the 11th Battalion, and was killed in action on August 6. He was 34 years of age." - from the Adelide Chronicle 18 Oct 1915 (nla.gov.au)
