The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, refer to pages 44/5 & 270. Prior to the war he was a painter of Narooma NSW. He enlisted 7th June 1915 aged 36 yrs. He served with the 56th Infantry Battalion. He survived the war, departing the UK 22nd Aug 1919.
