Geoffrey Tudor BARBER was born in 1892 in Hampstead, London, England

His parents were William Tudor & Emma Julia BARBER

Geoffrey left London on 9th July, 1914 & arrived in Melbourne on 20th August, 1914 on the ship "Port Lincoln"

He enlisted in Liverpool, Sydney on 29th December, 1915 and embarked from Sydney with the 13th Infantry Battalion on 14th September, 1916 on the HMAT Euripides

He was killed in Action on 12th April, 1917 in France - his name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial & he was awarded the British War Medal & the Victory Medal.
