DEATH OF A WAR MOTHER
NEWCASTLE, Sunday.
Mrs. Balsdon, the widowed mother of four sons who enlisted, has just died. Of these sons, one died of wounds, a second died of wounds whilst prisoner of war in Germany, and a third is permanently invalided, and will soon return to Australia. A fourth enlisted  in England at the inception of hostilities, and has come through up to the present without mishap.
