Son of Peter and Harriet Webber, Pratten via Warwick, Queensland
The melancholy news has been made public that Private Robert Webber, fourth son of Mrs. Harriet Webber, Pratten, was killed in action in France on April 24. The deceased hero, who was 27 years of age, enlisted in June 1916. Before he was fatally struck down he had been through many of the biggest battles, and had been wounded three times. Robert was one of three Webber boys who heard the call of their King and country, and went on active service, the others being Edward and Thomas. Now one has made the supremes sacrifice.
