Percy SMITH was born 1894 in Cunnamulla, Queensland, Australia.
At the time of enlistment he was a shearer.
Australian Electoral rolls have his occupations over the years as mostly labourer then Council Foreman in his latter years. Family have mentioned Percy did work on sheep stations, shearing, mustering, scrubcutting, labouring etc.
Percy married Winifred Dunford 1923 at Cunnamulla, where their 11 children were born. Winifred also served in WWI in the UK in the Queen Mary´s Army Auxiliary Corps.
