Son of Henry and Helen WOOD of Shepparton, Vic.
Gunner Leslie James Wood, fourth son of Mr and Mrs H Wood, of Ahsenden Street, Shepparton, who was attached to the Mechanical staff of the "Border Morning Mail" when he enlisted, has been reported killed in action on August 23. He was 28 years of age, and was well-known and respected.
