Son of Herman O'Sullivan and Margaret Stuart O'Sullivan nee Winter of Murchison Road, Rushworth, Victoria.
Brother of Stuart Poyner O'Sullivan who returned to Australia on 19 June 1920 having served with the 2nd Field Artillery Brigade
