Gallipoli
Wallace Owen McEwan was evacuated from Gallipoli after receiving a gunshot wound on 10 June 1915. A belt buckle of the owner in the shape of a map of Australia and inscribed with his name is held in a military museum in Canakkale, Türkiye.
