Victor John Tisdale THOMPSON was born in Mansfield, Victoria in 1897
His parents were Ralph Tisdale THOMPSON & Eliza Ann WATERMAN
He enlisted in Melbourne on 3rd August, 1915 & embarked with the 6th Infantry Battalion, 12th reinforcements on the 23rd November, 1915 on the ship HMAT Ceramic
Victor was Killed in Action in France on 18th December, 1917 and is buried in the Pont du Hem Military Cemetery, Plot III, Row C, Grave 1
