Thomas William Constable was born in 1891 at Bowden, South Australia. Thomas William Constable worked as a Labourer before the war. His father William Constable was his nominated next of kin when he enlisted. Thomas William Constable enlisted on the 26th of July 1915 aged 24. He served in the Middle East and France.
He was gassed in September 1918 and after recovering spent the remainder of his overseas service in Common Depots. Constable returned to Australia 8th of May in 1919 and was discharged 12th August 1919. He died 11th March 1938 and is buried at West Terrace Cemetery
