Husband of Violet Ernestine Unwin nee Towner of Armstrong Terrace, Ithaca, QLD. Frederick and Violet married on 11 January 1913 in QLD
28 December 1915 - enlisted at Brisbane with the 42nd Battlion and the with the rank of Private.
23 October 1918 - transferred to the 41st Battalion in France
Commenced return to Australia on 10 May 1919 aboard Wahehe disembarked on 1 July 1919 at Sydney for onward travel to Brisbane

16 August 1919 - discharged at the 1st Military District
