Birth name registered as Reginald Stanley Osborn but served as Stanley Reginald Osborn. Residential address at the time of death was Helmsdale, SA now known as Glenelg East.

Address at the time of enlistment was given as Edmund Avenue, Unley, SA.

Son of Henry Robert Osborn and Auguste Louisa Leing of Hector Terrace, St Leonards Glenelg, SA.

Commenced return to Australia on 30 October 1919 aboard HTNZ Wahehe disembarking on 13 December 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Adelaide.
