Commenced return to Australia 11 May 1919 aboat HT Zealandia disembbarking on 28 June 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney
Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal
Under the name of Thomas Hayes and with the service number 1752 he enlisted on 11 January 1915 and embarked HT Shropshire on 15 March 1915 at Sydney, NSW but there is no further information in relation to that service period
In October 1930 he applied for a replacement of his Dicharge Certificate which he had lost while in Hong Kong or China
