John’s name has been inscribed on the Cardiff War Memorial (photo, unveiled 1921?).

There is no memorial inscription on his parent’s headstone, and I am unable to erect a memorial cross, so I have placed poppies in remembrance of their son’s service and supreme sacrifice during The Great War. CATHOLIC 1-30. 25.
