His brother, Private Edward/Edwin Harvey Covey [also born in Chertsey] aged 25,also fell whilst srving with the 3rd Bn. Australian Infantry, A.I.F.

[died of bomb wounds]

They were sons of Edwin and  Annie Covey, of 3 Church St., Crondall, Farnham, Surrey.
