Boer War
Veteran
The death of 82-year-old Adam Mountjoy, of Kalamunda, at Lemnos Hospital on Thursday severed a link with one of the oldest families in WA. Mr. Mountjoy's grandparents came to Australia in August 1829, two months after Captain Stirling arrived on the Parmelia.
A well-known figure in the Swan district Mr. Mountjoy was a veteran of the Boer War and World War I. He is survived by his widow.
