Reinhold was the fourth of five children of Johann Dienegott Klobe (b1849 in Germany) and second wife Maria Pauline Biesse (b1859 in Hochkirch, Victoria). Johann arrived in Port Adelaide with his parents in August 1856 on board the August. In 1921 he was a Farmer at Bangerang near Warracknabeal, Victoria where he and Maria raised their family.
Reinhold was a Grocer in Bangerang in January 1913 when he enlisted in the AIF (Private; Service No:1967). He failed to embark (HMAT Hororata) with 8th Infantry Battalion on 17 April 1914 and was listed as 'apparently deserted'. Reinhold suffered from rheumatism and was Medically Discharged in June 1915.
Returning to Warracknabeal, Reinhold was a Farmer in 1916 when he married Annie Aveline Conduit (b1892 in Ararat, Victoria. Annie was a Tailoress living in Warracknabeal. Reinhold and Annie moved to Adelaide, South Australia in 1917, and raised their family there. Reinhold worked as a Motorman and both he and Annie died in 1950.
