Son of Godfrey and Flora BOWER 

Mr. C Godfrey Bower, of Linda, has been informed that his brother, Private Leslie Bower, was killed in action in France on August 8.  Private Bower who was 22 years of age enlisted two years ago in Western Australia, was for a period of about 12 months in England, and has since then been at the front.  He has two brothers on active service, one with the Australian Wireless Corps, and the other with New Zealand Field Artillery.
