Son of William John HILLMAN and Rose Ann nee SMITH

Previously served two year's in C Battery Garrison Artillery

In WW1 enlisted as reinforcement for 9th Light Horse Regiment, detached to Imperial Camel Corps and appointed Lance Corporal.

HILLMAN.—On December 20 at the Repatriation Hospital, Keswick. Alfred Stanley Hillman, late of 22 Beryl st., Broadview, beloved husband of Jessie, and loving father of Stanley (R.AA.F.), Olive (Mrs. Cox, St. Peters), Laurel (Mrs. Hinde, Southern Rhodesia). Late Boer War and Ist A.I-F. Aged 60 years.
