His brothers: 5708 Pte Stewart Gordon Macpherson, 3rd Battalion AIF, killed in action, 9 November 1917, aged 26. 4857 Pte Stanley Douglas MacPherson, 56th Battalion AIF, returned to Australia, 2 June 1919. 3129 Private Archibald McLeod MacPherson 6th Light Horse Regiment, returned to Australia 16 March 1919.
