His brothers: 5708 Pte Stewart Gordon Macpherson, 3rd Battalion AIF, killed in action, 9 November 1917, aged 26. 4857 Pte Stanley Douglas MacPherson, 56th Battalion AIF, returned to Australia, 2 June 1919. 3129 Private Archibald McLeod MacPherson 6th Light Horse Regiment, returned to Australia 16 March 1919.

The sons of Archibald and Elizabeth Ann Macpherson, of Tooraweenah, near Gilgandra, New South Wales.
