Charles Walker Tucker, born Ballarat August 1894, a 20-years, 11 months old single (Blacksmith’s) Striker. Next of Kin father, Henry Tucker 703 Lydiard St North, Ballarat (later 707 Lydiard St North). Previous military experience 1894 Quota of 70th Infantry Cadets and 70th Infantry (Ballarat Regiment), Sergeant, No. 198. CoE. (Later letters to Legatee, mother, Mrs J. (Jean) Tucker). Sister Gladys Tucker. Attended the MacArthur Street State School.

Son of Henry and Jean Tucker, of 707, Lydiard St., Ballarat, Victoria, Australia.

TUCKER. —Died of wounds at Twelfth General Hospital, France, on 3rd November, 1918, after three years service, Pte. Charles Walker Tucker, dearly loved eldest son of Harry and Jane Tucker, 707 Lydiard-street, Ballarat North, and beloved brother of Gladys, Bernice, Jean, Harry, Ernie, Edna, and the late Jessie.
Brother and sister reunited.
His duty nobly done.
