"THE LATE PRIVATE W. G. CROSER.

On August 12 Mr. E. Croser, of Koolywurtie, was informed of the death in action of his youngest son, Private W. G. Croser, which occurred on July 17. The deceased soldier was born at Koolywurtie 28 years ago. He left for the front on March 25." - from the Adelaide Chronicle 26 Aug 1916 (nla.gov.au)
