Reginald Mueller MAZENGARB was born in Pakenham, Victoria in 1893
His parents were Alfred Valentine MAZENGARB & Elizabeth MURPHY
He married Alice Winifred WOODBRIDGE in St Michaels Church in Vaucluse, Sydney on 8th November, 1915 - four children, Harris, Beth, Peter & Patricia
Reginald enlisted in Randwick, Sydney on 25th August, 1914 & embarked from Sydney on 18th October, 1914 on the HMAT Suffolk with the 2nd Infantry Battalion & returned to Australia temporarily- he was transferred to the 2nd Field Ambulance on 6th March, 1916
He returned to Australia on 24th December, 1918 and was discharged on 27th April 1919 as medically unfit due to his war injuries
He died in Canterbury District Hospital in Sydney on 16th December, 1929 of strychnine poisoning which was brought on by ongoing health problems & pain suffered due to his war injuries
