Add my storyBiography contributed by Faithe Jones
The death occurred at the Proserpine Hospital on Friday of last week of Albert Fraser Green at the age of 54years. Deceased was well-known by the old hands of this district, and at one period was Secretary of our local Farmers' Association. After resigning from that position he left the district but when the war broke out he enlisted and served overseas with the A.I.F. Some years after the war he returned to Proserpine and later went to Midge Point, where he resided until a month or so ago, when he was brought into the Hospital a very sick man. His condition gradually became worse and as stated above he passed away on Friday. The funeral moved from the Methodist Church at 4 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, many returned soldiers paying their last respects by attending the funeral. Rev. B. J, Dale read the last rites at the graveside.”
