Address at the time of enlistment was given as Westbury Street, Hackney, SA.

Son of John Ogg and Mary Ogg of Glasgow Street, Dunedin South, NZ.

Commenced return to Australia on 29 May 1919 aboard HT Rio Negro disembarking on 22 Julyn1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Adelaide.

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal

On 5 April 1921 John married Ethel Alice McDougall in the Methodist Church, Prospect, SA.
