NOTHING IN MY HAND I BRING SIMPLY TO THY CROSS I CLING
Freddy received a gunshot wound to the abdomen and died of his wounds at the 3rd Casualty Clearing Station, France.
More bad news this week. Word has just been received that Fred Dray, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. F.W. Dray, has been killed in action in France. Fred was the eldest son ans was not yet 20 years of age. He was a quiet, unassuming boy and well liked by everyone. Much sympathy is felf for the sorrowing family. War and its terrible trials are being fully understood now that our own boys are being killed.
