Leslie's parents were George Walker and Emma Jane Fletcher. Leslie was living at Terrors Creek and his occupation was a saddler when he enlisted 16 October 1915 at Brisbane, his unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A16 Star of Victoria on 31 March 1916. On the 1919 electoral roll Leslie Reid Prosser Walker was living at Terror's Creek and his occupation was a Saddler.
