Gerald Cunliffe STONES was born in Wisbeth, Cambridgeshire, England on 31st July, 1879
His parents were Thomas STONES & Maria Yelverton DANBARN who married on 8th January, 1874 in Myrtle Chapel in Liverpool, UK

Pilot with 67 Squadron. Australian Flying Corps. at Rafah, Egypt. Killed in action whilst flying a BE. 2c, with observer Second Lieutenant. Joseph Anthony Morgan (aged 19, from Soho, London) shot down by anti-aircraft fire over Gaza, during artillery observation flight.
