6107 Private Joseph WEIR, 3rd Pioneer Battalion, died of wounds, 7 October 1918, France.

War service: joined Mediterranean Expeditionary Force 4 April 1915; transferred to 4th Divisional Artillery 21 February 1916; taken on strength, 21st Howitzer Brigade, 11 March 1916; transferred to 2nd Field Artillery Battalion, 14 July 1916; embarked for return to Australia per H.T. 'Kashmir' 9 March 1919.

Returned to Australia 9 May 1919
