Charles Collingwood GUEST was born in Collingwood, Victoria in 1880

His parents were George GUEST & Jane GLASGOW

He enlisted in Melbourne on 16th July, 1915 and embarked with the 23rd Infantry Battalion, 6th Reinforcements from Melbourne on the HMAT Ulysses on 27th October, 1915

Charles was Killed in Action in France on 30th January, 1917 and is buried in the Guards Cemetery, Lesboeufs and his name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial
