Edward Joseph CONNOP was born in Little River, Geelong, Victoria in 1895

His parents were John Edmond CONNOP and Margaret FORBES

He enlisted on 19th July, 1915 and embarked from Melbourne on 27th October, 1915 on the HMAT Ulysses with the 22nd Infantry Battalion, 6th reinforcements

Edward died of wounds at Passchendaele and is buried in the Calais Southern Cemetery
