Biography contributed by Aaron Waddington

Born in 1897, at Carlton in Victoria to Lily May Miller. Ernest lost his mother to a complicated childbirth in 1899, giving birth to then whom Ernest in 1913 via a police statment claimed was his step brother Enrico. While working as a lamp assistant at Stanford Merthyr colliery in Maitland in 1913, Ernest had claimed Harry Corra whom was found deceased was his stepfather. Ernest had been raised by Riccardo Francesco Corrà (Harry) since his mother had died at the age of three. Ernest had lost his (step) brother Harry's son, shortly after his mothers passing in 1901. Less than two years after Harry had died, a quote "friend" Joseph William Charlton acted as next of kin, to enlist Ernest in the 35th Infantry Battalion in Nov 1915. Ernest had then already been serving in the 14th Infantry Battalion for five months. As per his Australia, World War I Service Record. Embarking on the 1st of May 1916 Ernest had sadly died in no man's land on the 10th of Jun 1917 it is said of rouge shrapnel wounds and a gunshot to the chest. Harry Ernest's (step father) most probably was actually Ernest's biological father as he married Lily in 1898 less than a year after Ernest's birth. Making him (Ernest) the 1 cousin of Italo Vincent Cesari the son of the sister of Riccardo Francesco Corrà (Harry). And I therefore am Ernest William Miller' / Corrà' 1st cousin 3x removed. Requiescat in peace. Love and LIFE Aaron
