John Russell Waddell was the brother of my grandmother, Honora (Nora) Pennington nee Waddell. The son of John Waddell and Katherine Ulmer. Also the brother of Margaret (Maggie),Brigitte (Beet),Terrence (Terry) and Katherine (Kit).
He enlisted at 20 years and 4 months.Born in Nov 1895.
He returned from the war, married but lost contact with the family.
