    John Adam MOUNTJOY was born in Middle Swan, Midland Junction, Western Australia in 1894

    His parents were David Henry MOUNTJOY & Eliza Jane Passmore HOOPER

    Before enlisting in WW1 he had served with the Citizen Forces in Perth with the 88th Infantry
