Leslie Champness
Leslie Champness was born 1 February 1881 at Noarlunga, South Australia.
Son of John Henry & Blanche Annette Leppard CHAMPNESS nee MOLINEUX.
He married Elsie Jane WILMHURST on 15 April 1909 at Jamestown Methodist Church, Jamestown, South Australia. He had 2 children at the time of his enlistment on 19 AUgust 1915. He was a saddler prior to enlisting.
He returned to Australia on 13 October 1918.
He died 24 September 1944.
