Son of William Ambrose KELLY and Mary Louisa KELLY nee GANNON, of Penshurst, Victoria.
KELLY.— A tribute of love and respect to my true friend, Sergeant R. D. Kelly (Des.), killed in action in France, 4th October, 1917, beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Kelly, Penshurst, Victoria.
"Thorns give out perfume, and the cross
breathes forth sweetness."
"As true a heart as ever beat
Has passed away from earth;
But memory dwells within the hearts
Of those who knew his worth.
A sorrow's crown of sorrow
Is remembering happier things.
