Louis Horatio Albert DEVERELL was born in Bath, Somerset on 26th May, 1891

His parents were Charles Daniel DEVERELL & Louisa LAYCOCK who married in Bath in 1888

He married Frances Woolley ROACH in Leederville, Western Australia in 1912 - two known children, Albert Edward Stanley & Frances Emily Louisa

He enlisted in 27th March, 1916 & embarked from Fremantle, WA on the HMAT Militiades on 7th August, 1916 with the 11th Infantry Battalion, 19th reinforcements

Louis was Killed in Action on 10th August, 1918 and is buried in the Heath Cemerety in Picardie, France
