Biography contributed by Geoffrey Gillon

Henry William Sudlow married Rachel Georgina nee Harris 1876, County Cork, Ireland. Henry and Rachel sailed to King George Sound, Albany, Western Australia, 1902 aboard the "Suevic" with their children Josephine, Kathleen, Thomas, [said to be 15 at the time] Francis, Arthur, Geoffrey and Doreen. Rachel and her daughters appear to have returned to England after the death of Henry. Josephine married William Simpson and lived in County Cork, Ireland. This may explain why Thomas was invalided to County Cork, Ireland after being wounded at Pozieres, Somme Sector, France

Rachel died 8 August 1914, Essex, England. She had been living in Emerson Park, Hornchurch, near Romford.
