LOVE NEVER DIES GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN ONE OF THE GLORIOUS DEAD
HOWE.--- In loving memory of our dear son and brother, N. L. Howe, machine-gunner, who died of wounds at No. 10 Casualty Clearing Station; 5th October, 1917.
He gave his life for his country,
For honor, faith, and right;
With us his memory ever lives,
He fought a noble fight.
--- Inserted by his loving parents, sisters and brothers, and brother-in-law, V. Gunnell.
HOWE.--- In loving memory of our dear brother, Private Norman Leslie Howe, died of wounds received whilst in action at Ypres, 5th October, 1917.
The saddest day has yet to come,
When the boys come marching home,
O God, have pity for the watching ones,
Whose loved ones will never come home.
--- Inserted by his loving sister and brother-in-law, Crissie and Walter Austin, Sydney.
