Son of Thomas and Esther Bridget Latham of Tarcutta, NSW.

Brother of William Henry Latham who died of wounds on 24 August 1915 while serving with the 1st Battalion and was buried in the Cairo War Memorial Cemetery, Row D, Grave 60, Isabella Latham, Hannah Latham, Daniel Walter Latham who returned to Australia on 10 December 1918 having served with the Siege Artillery Brigade
