Biography

"...5020 Private George Henry Goode,17th Battalion, of Millthorpe, NSW. A grocer prior to enlistment, Pte Goode embarked with the 13th Reinforcements from Sydney on HMAT Kyarra on 5 June 1916. After transferring to the 33rd Battalion, he was killed in action in France on 2 June 1918, aged 31. Pte Goode also had a brother 2637 Pte Ernest Harold Goode who was killed in action on 25 February 1917." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
