2576 Driver William Henry Blatchford,2nd Pioneer Battalion, Australian Infantry. Husband of Mrs. Hannah Jane Blatchford [nee Vercor] of 11 Exeter Road, Crediton; father of Leslie Blatchford. Licensee of the Oak Leaf Hotel in Crediton for many years. Born in Bodmin in 1872. Died in England 9 September 1921 aged 49. [Death record not found. Place of burial not found]
