Son of Albert Zimmerli and Anne Zimmerli of 'Hillside', Collen Rubie via Narrandera, NSW.

Commenced return to Australia on 19 June 1919 aboard HT Miltiades disembarking on 8 August 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney.
