Next of kin given as his brother Thomas Quirke of Galbally, Limerick, Ireland.
Previously served with the Royal Irish Regiment in India for over 18 years.
Commenced return to Australia, first time, on 11 April 1916 aboard HT Runic services no longer required. Disembarking on 14 May 1916.
Commenced return to Australia on 31 March 1919 aboard HT Khyber disembarking on 22 May 1919.
Medals: 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal, Indian Medal ( Prior WW1, Punjab Frontier). Following his death the medals were forwarded to Base Records by the Lidcombe State Hospital, NSW
