Raymond Axford ADAMS was born on 8th October, 1882 in Launceston, Tasmania

His parents were Charles ADAMS and Eliza Ann CHAMBERLAIN - he was one of 13 children

He married Mabel Irene NORMAN on 25th August, 1915 in Queensland

They had one son Raymond Norman ADAMS born 15th September, 1916 in Melbourne who served as a Captain in the Army in WW2 - Service Numbers  V52568, VX117023 and V103599
